chooky run

Post by village idiot »

i know these should probably be in the rogues gallery but WTF, i don't have the resources a lot of you boys have
the coop was bought & i decided to lift it higher & the legs slot into the platform
the rest is 2"x2" treated rough sawn & some old fencing i took down a few months ago
it was also easier to isolate the eucalyptus tree than to try & seal round it, the mesh is buried to try to deter predators
& i know the hinges are all wrong but i don't care

:thumbright: You've used your noddle to design all those clever tie-ins with the wall and the fence. Great piece of work!

Have you thought about cutting in a paving slab or two across the front? The grass infront of the door will get really worn otherwise, and it would make the maintenance of the lawn easier because you wouldn't need to strim along the front of the coop.
