There is a company called ellitile their tiles are lose laid, but seal together at the tile edges, mainly used commercial property and mainly wood plank effect.Philgo wrote:Is there such a thing as a loose lay vinyl tile suitable for a bathroom? thanks

Eletile use a floating floor system as rugrat said.
However the glue is very poor and will become loose after a very short time. Eletile do not accept complaints, so you have nothing to fall back on when it becomes loose.
They do tile and wood effects, but I would avoid it like the plague.
Pay the extra and get LVT laid. I would avoid doing it yourself unless you dont mind tying a few times, as its one of those things anyone can do and it will look ok(ish), but takes someone who has done it before to get it to look like a real wooden floor.

I would agree that if you want LVT to look good you need to have had a bit of training and the correct floor preparation is needed

Also the best wood effects are far more expensive, Mflor Authentic plank looks the business
