Make sure your keyboard settings are set to English UK.go to control panel -> regional and language options

Thats what I cant undertstand - I thought it was regional settings and it was the first thing I checked - also the delete button doesnt work.
Really cant be bothered to count how many keys are on the keyboard to see if its a 102, 104 etc but it is a Fujitsu KB SC GB
And when you press shift and ' you get 2 instead of @.....
If im right it's def. language setting some where...as for the Delete key...you don't have "Num Lock" enabled???

I have a pc on XP, but it is not here.
There are two places where you can select the language, when you hit the 2 key and shift you know that it is set to English US and not English UK.
Sometimes there is a small icon in the taskbar tray at the bottom of the screen, where you can click on it and select English UK.

Do you know I've just looked....I've got a second "DEL" key down there as well.....never noticed it before..
