Windows live photo gallery problems

Post by sparkydude »

When i try to view the pictures in on my memory card it shows them all in a gallery, with tickboxes to delete them,
i tick a few to delete them then it comes up and says it has experienced a problem and needs to close, or has stopped working.

This happens everytime i use it. Someone has said its something to do with codecs ?????

any help apreciated

Nick
If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL

When you connect your camera to the computer does it show up in My Computer/Windows Explorer? If it does, you can view your photos there. Hold down CTRL and click on each photo you want to delete, then press DELETE to delete all the selected photos.

When you view the pictures with windows explorer, try right clicking on one of them and select open with, then choose windows photo gallery. It sounds like you images are being opened with a third party app.

I don't know anything about Dutch punctuation. but...if a photo file name has a comma instead
of a dot (period) just before jpg it will not be recognized as a photo file...Good Luck
