Our cloakroom has vinyl flooring glued to concrete floor. It seems well laid, and well glued! - and I don't want to have to take it up, but the colour/design is dreadful. Can I cover it with cork tiles and if so what adhesive is best? I'm told I should scratch up the surface first with a wire brush to let the glue penetrate.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Impact adhesive. or Contact Adhesive, depending on whom you buy it from.

Evostik say you shouldnt use their impact adhesive on vinyl as the plasticisers in the vinyl will bleed into the adhesive and affect the bond. Presumably its the same for all impact adhesives. I think you will have to ask some adhesive manufacturers for advice or take it up.
