Could someone tell me the best way to remove floor tile grout.
I know you can buy the cheap grout removers with the blade but my kitchen floor is fairly large and i was wondering if there was an easy way of doing it ie electric power tool. knowing my luck, no!

The fein mulitmaster should do the trick, but it is a bit pricey-
One of the cheapest places to get one is- http://www.tradetiler.com/acatalog/Fein ... aster.html
Other than that if the grout line is thick you can remove it with an angle grinder and diamond disk, although this will make lots of dust. You will also have to be careful of catching thetiles with the blade!

Orrible job, and I don't envey you one bit.
But as suggested above..............fein multimaster if you can beg steal (carefull) or borrow.........which i doubt.
Another option would be to get some 1mm thick angle grinder blades and get it out that way..........still a horrible job, and DON'T attempt that if you have had a night out on the

You have to dig all the grout out about 1/4 inch deep or more then press new grout back in if you try to just brush off the crumbles and (patch) over it , the grout will not stick and crumble back off again. Once the crap spots are dug out you can fill them back in and when it dries add some sealer to the areas you patched.
