Worktop cutting blades
We have had two quotes for cutting a cheapish Worktop , we were told we have to pay 80 quid for the cutting blade, what blade are they referring to? Is this normal?

Re: Worktop cutting blades
The router bit used to cut the worktop. Router bits will only do a few cuts (less than 6) in laminate worktop before they loose their cutting edge. £80 seems a bit excessive though, a very decent bit would cost about half that. How much cutting was involved?

It depends what is normal....................I quote for the job and not the job plus a cutter.
Are they charging you 57 pence for wear and tear on the router, plus 15 pence for the transformer lol.
