Ryobi?

Post by Monzer »

Hi All,

I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have recently bought a new home and will be doing a lot of work on it. I will be buying all my power tools from scratch and have seen a 5 tool pack from Ryobi that is perfect. I was just wondering if they are a good and reliable brand to go for??

Hope someone can help?
Thanks in advance

I've been building up a selection of Ryobi One+ cordless stuff. I've used them now on a few projects and they seem to be good. I canvassed advice on here before I bought and was adviced they were good DIY (me) or as a backup for trade use.

Just shop around. I know sfx are doing offers at the mo...drill and circular say plus 2 batteries and charger £99

heeellloo monzer and welcome

exactly as skiking says great kit

if your talking take5 kit you want the take 5/2 as this is one+ compatable
where as the take 5 isnt as it has slide on batteries

this link claims to be "take 5/2" but shows the slide on batteries
http://www.tool-net.co.uk/p-317913/ryob ... o-kit.html

that use this battery
http://www.tool-net.co.uk/p-320774/ryob ... -pack.html

where as i have seen the one plus compatable battery in the same kit
we are all ------------------still learning

Hi Monza
I've got the One+ drill/driver and circular saw and both are very good.
The saw is actually very impressive as long as you let the blade do the work and don't force it too hard.
