Grout sealant has cracked the grout

Hi all,
I have just had my bathroom retiled, when I applied grout sealant it seemed to crack the grout, does anyone know why this has happened or what I can do to rectify it?

it shouldn't crack the grout. If it is showing cracks along internal corners then they may already have had some cracking and the sealer is just highlighting them.

Or is this a problem in other areas too such as middle of wall etc.

I take it you have applied and cleaned off excess sealer?? Also, some sealers recommend 2 coats.
