need to get started

Post by Alice »

Is there a rule as to how high the wall cupboards should be in the kitchen , as im only 5ft 1 ,and i have already put a cupboard up 20 ins from the work top but im now thinking 16ins. My kitchen is a small galley one with a balcony door at the other end. The annoying thing is the pipes that run along the wall, as i wanted all the white goods on the same wall ,but no chance ::b

Also is it ok to have my fridge freezer next to my dryer it is a condenser.
I wish i could do the photo thing but as yet i cant , thankyou guys
for any advice....Aileen

with regards to cabinet height you can set them as low as you wish except for near a gas hob you have to be a minimum of 450 high but must also be 50mm away from the sides of the hob at that height! also just make sure you kettle and microwave and such will fit beneath! fridge freezer and T/Dryer ok next to each other!

you can put your wall units at what ever you like. but if you have a tower unit in the plans it better for for the wall units to follow the top of the tower unit so they are all at one level
