Floating Shelfs
Mrs M asked be to go round & fit some floating shelfs for a couple down the road (who always end up being charged over the top or the tradesman never finishes the job!!) So off I trotted it was to near the take the van so I made two trips on foot. To my horror when I got there the shelfs were from a well known chain & relied on two round brackets secured to the wall, Then a cam lock to keep in place the featherlight hollow unit.... What a nightmare the brackets went up ,then a lot of huffing & puffing trying to get the cam locks in place. I ended up walking home again to get a box of packing & putting a 2mm shim behind the brackets to push them deeper to line up somewhere near the cam locks......NEVER AGAIN
Knock Knock Knock........ Stevies home!!!!
