Hi, I want to make a computer desk, can you tell me where I buy solid wood board 600x1000

You would have to join a number of boards of solid timber to make a table top. This is not easy to do unless you have a number of tools to help you do it. Why not use wood veneered board to make it instead. Have a look here http://www.silverman.co.uk/index.php

i have used the the timberboard quite a few times in the past its realy good although it was 18mm not 28 as suggested
another way to make simmilar size is to make a frame from 2x1" par[planed ]18x44mm rebate out [12x12mm]and insert 12mm ply with the best side up and grain running across the desk

Wickes do a limited range of the 'Timberboard', but a little cheaper.
BnQ do a wider range, but a little dearer.
Most sixes are 18mm thick, but larger sizes are also in 28mm i think (in Wickes anyway.)
Also known as Premboard.
If you go down this route, select the pieces carefully, a few seem to have very big knots or resin pockets. (especially the Premboard)
