Re: Intergas 24/18 HRE compact Combi
sounds good,
Is the flue the 'rhino' type with the up turned nose? and did you get kit A in the end?
a good idea at this stage is to see if the little PRV stub and nut can be unscrew. I have found some that are rock hard to unscrew and almost have to take the boiler off the wall to unscrew them. I think they pre-wet the washer or something? by the time it gets to you it has dried and stuck solid.

Re: Intergas 24/18 HRE compact Combi
so good so far I hope
what I like to do is put a full bore valve as a drain on both the flow and return under the boiler. so you fill from one side and drain through the other then swap.

looking good
remember it only a 9l/m boiler so make sure the flow rate is not too high

just hit a problem
Have a mini flood in the office at the moment, you didn't tell me I had to cap the cold feed and vent.

Re: Intergas 24/18 HRE compact Combi
btw I forgot to say to watch for loose nuts inside the boiler. what sometimes can happen is when you tighten the valve under the boiler it can loosen the one above inside the boiler.
if you do get any water in the boiler, intergas have kindly proved a sump under the boiler on the right hand side under the pump. there is a little plastic cap to drain any water away.
not to worry john, we all have forgetful moments

That's the funniest thing I've heard for ages
But only 'cos I've done it myself
It's not to late to get BG in you know
And it's a senior moment Mehran
