I need a urgent help. I would be appreciated, if you would help my problem.
I need to remove all the tiles around the bathroom wall and after that I want to put paint on the wall instead of put new titles on.
My problem is, one side of the wall is brick and the other side is chipboard. The questions are:
1. How to remove the titles without damaged the wall and chipboard?
2. How to remove the old glue from the wall and the chip board?
3. How long do I need to wait before I paint the wall?
Your help is very much appreciated.

Re: redecorate bathroom
probally better and quicker to remove the stud wall and replace with 12.5mm plasterboard.
as for the solid wall..hammer and bolster and take the tiles off,any damage use a quick setting render to infill, or bonding plaster then finnish plaster,as for painting times you can get emulsion paint for newly plastered walls..dulux/crown..(check in the painting/dec forum).
