Hi guys, My battery in my hp dv 2000 is not holding any charge at all now. Buying a new battery and see there is 4400 6 cell or 8800 12 cell. I take it the larger of the two will hold a charge for longer. Is there much differnce?
Cheers Chris

Re: Laptop battery
About double (exactly, in fact)
just bear in mind that it will also take TWICE AS LONG to charge.

Don't take it personally......

Re: Laptop battery
As Kelly sez, the 4400 has a capacity of 4400 mAh and the larger one has a capacity of 8800 mAh.

On a side note, be aware that the 2000 series of HPs has a bad rep for popping graphics chips, (I know I just got one to repair which seems to have blown its gfx chipset) something widely documented online, with some threatening legal action against HP.
So try to keep it cool and the vents clean and it should be fine, just a heads up to make you aware of potential trouble on the horizon.
