DIY Book Bargain

Post by ultimatehandyman »

I'm sure many people will remember the Dorling Kindersley know how with show how DIY Manual.

It normally sells for about £25 and is a popular DIY manual.

I believe that Dorling Kinderslay got into trouble as they changed the name of the book to DIY Doctor, know how with show how.

As DIY doctor is a registered trade mark I believe they had to rename the book, which means that they are selling copies with the DIY Doctor title for a bargain price of just £2.25 including postage and packing

They are described as used-very good condition

No, I don't think you did, but no doubt we will find out somehow.

Happy Birthday for when ever it is, tomorrow I think.

Could be good cometition prizes if you can stick a UHM sticker over the DIY Doctor bit.

Although, if everyone got one, no one would be posting on here for help!

This is brilliant for me as I'm a total beginner, ordered it cant wait for it to come. By the way has anyone read or have the book Woodwork: A step-by-step photographic guide as i was thinking of buying this as its half price on whsmith's website, but was wondering if it includes things such as cabinents trays etc, on the discription is says from making a bed to putting a bed together, so was wondering if you guys know whats in it and if its good

Beach,
Did it come via the Postman or was it a parcel delivery van?

Ordered mine on the 5th and still not showing.

iirc it came via usual postie, didn't need signing for.
Have you tried sending them a message?
