Re: building my own oven housing
from what i am understanding you are hoping to save money by cutting your own boards ??
in general you will not as you need a saw costing perhaps £200+ and a triple chip laminate blade at around £60 to get a clean cut so iff your rich go for it lol

Re: building my own oven housing
If your friend needs to be told how to do such a simple task, then don't let him do it.
The unit has to match in with your existing as far as size is concerned, so this is something you need to give him. He should be capable of working out all other cutting sizes from the overall measurement you give him.
It is a waste of time for any one on here to tell you the unit is 575mmx720mm if your units are smaller.
Don't forget to add the cost of a leg pack, edging, cam dowels and locks. Add that to the £14, your time and petrol to drop it off to him, picking it up, trawling the internet because he doesn't know what he is doing. It is probably going to end up dearer than buying the pre built one.
