Anyway, just wanted to post this. Made this from some bed slats I left over (better than them getting chucked or going on the fire). Couple of hours with a tenon saw, mitre block screws and glue, and I came up with a shoe rack for the hallway. Total cost, screws and glue
and much more sturdy than anything I could have bought, as well as having something which fits the space perfectly.I wanted to say a big thank you to big-all as well. He has helped me with tools and advice for starting all my projects, and without that I would have really struggled.
