Anyone know , how to set up a computer with two monitors?. My present comp has a PCI E graphics card in and also has the onboard monitor connection (unused)
Is it possible to plug another monitor in so I can have say two windows open (one on each screen) ?
Cheers guys

Re: setting up a dual screen monitor
The onboard graphics will almost definately be disabled by the presence of the dedicated graphics card. What outputs does the graphics card have?

Re: setting up a dual screen monitor
Most video cards have dual output. If you have the regular 15-pin VGA socket AND the DVI socket you can use them both.
Right click on the desktop and go to dispay - properties. If you see two 'monitors' on the 'screen' (marked 1 and 2) then you card WILL support two displays simultaneously.

Don't take it personally......
