Undermount Ceramic Sinks
Hi,
I'm soon going to be fitting undermount ceramic sinks to solid oak worktops which is something I've not done before. Can anyone offer any guidance on the correct way to do this. I have an idea, but want to see what the experts suggest.
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: Undermount Ceramic Sinks
you need to fit a shelf for it to sit on but make sure it will support the weight some of those sinks are 30 kgs before you add 10kg of water! then cut your cutout making it 10mm smaller than the bowl so you can rout a V grove as a drip edge underneath! hope this helps!

Re: Undermount Ceramic Sinks
exactly as mark but make sure your grooves underneath start and finish within the sink or if you accidentily go to far fill with silicon

Re: Undermount Ceramic Sinks
A friend is soon having a new kitchen fitted and is apparently having an undermount sink in a granite top. For some silly reason, he thinks he can buy the undermount sink, after the granite worktops have been installed.
