Trend Router. Guide Bush Issues.

Post by philnotts »

Hi, this is my first post as im new to the forum. Ive recntly brought a trend T10 router from a friend. its brand new hes had it years and just never used it. Currently i have a makita router where the 30m guide bush fits into a specific slot that is then locked in place be retactable pins. The T10 however is fixxed into posistion by just two screws. Im worried that if i use it the screws may come loose under vibration and move mid pass while cutting.

Does anyone have any experience with the T10 and are the screws sufficient to keep the bush from moving?

Thanks, Phil.

Phil,

It is better to just post a question in one topic to avoid conflicting answers.
As you have posted the same question in the Tools Forum I will lock this thread.
