With my kitchen I was supplied loads of rolls of laminate edging for end decor panels that required cutting. My issue is I have put edging on one end of my breakfast bar which needed cutting, now before i put the edging on it was clean and dust free and as it was self adhesive edging no glues were used but it isn't staying down it keeps peeling off, then i rub it down and then it stays down for a few days and then lifts again. Any of you kitchen experts got any tips please

Go out and buy some "contact adhesive" apply to the bar and the laminate, wait for it to go tacky. (Just follow the instructions on the tin..)

I have used PVA. Rub a good cover of PVA in to the chipboard core edge and mount the edging. Now tape it on with masking tape from the top over the edge and fix on the underside. Do this all along the edge so it is firmly held in place. Leave for three days then trim it and clean the edges.

I have done it this way a number of times and it has never failed.
