Guess what I started building today?
I gather you all guessed correctly, another door! :yawn:
This time it is a glazed door in pine for a customer. I also have to splice in a new piece of frame at the bottom for this job, not done that for a long time.

Don't like that stile, it has a defects running right up it.
Must be being painted, but I still like joinery grade timber being used, although dearer.
Sorry.............joinery is spot the dog as usual though.

Yes Royal Oak it is being painted. Had to use this piece as the other was twisted.

yes......................non standard size.............quality joinery instead of the thrown together 5hite that is rife, one off doors.
Google 'gunstock' door and I bet there won't be any major suppliers selling them off shelf.

nice work, i love doing doors, hanging and making them. don't know why, just have an unhealthy obsession with them

You can hang mine too if you like. I enjoy making them but hate hanging them, needs must though.
