Re: Internet explorer 9
Are you using Windows 7?
If so:>>>
Start -> Control Panel -> Programs & Features -> In the left pane click 'View Installed Updates -> Find the IE9 and right click it -> click Uninstall.
That will uninstall it and revert you back to IE8.
If XP Just look in the Control panel and do the same sort of procedure as above.
(Not got XP or Vista so not quite sure how to get to the Updates uninstall)

Re: Internet explorer 9
Should be...possibly the same reason Google search engine share with "ask" (Or jeeves as it was) and Yahoo search shares with Bing?? or is it the other way round...

Re: Internet explorer 9
Its because Microsoft need a browser to access the windows update site and the only browser they can guarantee is on a windows machine is IE (though not anymore, likely why windows update has its own application in windows 7)
I don't use IE (though the local rags obit section was written to ONLY work in IE..... friggin media types, think because they can turn the computer on they are capable of producing a website.....of course they use some piece of msoft tosh like frontpage and the site never works outwith IE )
Nor do I use opera, tried both, didn't get on with either.
