Bench
There must be something about benches. I had to knock one up yesterday as a kind of unpaid extra on a job. In reality it's going to be used for flower pots and not as bench, and is only 200mm wide. The result wasn't to bad though, considering that it was made from pretty much throw away oak that I had ear marked as firewood.

Re: Garden Bench
That is wider than the seats(!) or poles that bus companies now provide in bus shelters to park your arse whilst waiting for one of the over-due buses.and is only 200mm wide.
Eddie , you could try and get a contract with Stagecoach for all their bus shelters.

Re: Garden Bench
The only thing that I didn't do was the roof tiling. I would have done normally, but my knees are just to shot now, so I try and keep ladder work to the minimumMFCGMFC wrote:did you build that entire porch area Eddiej?
