hi, do i have to pva plaster before i tile, the plaster is in good condition and as only had wallpaper on it and something called size

Check the instructions on the tile adhesive..chances are your PVA will do more damage than good..though you may need a sealant..

NOOO...to pva...if your tiles are under 250x250mm then you can use a tubbed adhesive(this has the acrylic primer already in it....well a good mfr..bal/weber/ardex/mapei..)
if tiles are over the above size.. then YOU WILL NEED TO PRIME the finish plaster with an acrylic primer from one off the above mfr...bal primer/mapei primer G etc..follow mfr inst for mix ratio...
if its just been a skim coat plaster..give it time to dry/cure before tile fixing...
