is it PSU issue or worse?

Hi.
I got an old PC aat the moment,the problem is i have 24 pins place on the motherboard but i only have 20 pin to fit on the motherboard,what do i have to do?
will i have to buy a new PSU or is there anything else u guys can advice to do?

PSU on the computer is fsp350-60mdn has only 20 pins
motherboard is MSi.

Connect it and see. Most of the time they work. It will only connect on one end, due to the shape of the connectors, so you can't do it wrong.

thanks for advise but thats whats im struggling cos as i tried to explain the power supply hasn't got 4 more pins to connect!
as u can see the picture i already connect 20 pin but there is 4 pins to connect but psu has only 20 to connect!

As you have it plugged in now, have you tried to boot the computer?

Try it and report back as to what, if anything happens.

yes i have tried as it is and i can hear a quick beeping sound and then all seems like its going to work and including the fun but i cant get anything on the screen!

i start to think that 4 pin i havent got on the power suplly,maybe i need them to get power on graphic card on the pc?

They usually do work OK, but if you've got a dedicated graphics card you probably need a 24-pin PSU. They aren't expensive, eg here

Just make sure there are enough of each connection you need, unless you have a converter, ie there's only one SATA but 3 molex on that one.

im just ordering a Molex to P4 ATX Power Adapter,hope it'll work if it doesnt i will get the psu on ur link(thanks for that)
my psu at the moment is FSP350-60MDN so if it doesnt work with the connector i will have in few days im gona have to buy the other one but is the new one will be ok for motherboard or i gotta look for any specefic ones?

If the connector you've ordered doesn't work, before you order a new PSU you need to check everything else is OK.

You haven't given full details of what you've done.

Is this a new/different motherboard in the same case?

Have you tried it with nothing connected, except for the PSU, RAM and CPU? Even without the front panel connector and starting it by connecting the power button pins with a screwdriver?

Does it have on-board graphics to try without the graphics card?

1-Ok I will do check before buying other psu but i hope its gona work with the Molex to P4 ATX Power convertor.

2-Thats the same motherboard.
seems like pc fully working but i just cant get anything on the screen.

it doesnt have onboard graphic card.

seems like i will have to wait until i got the convertor.
