Hi all,
I am having abit of trouble with my Broadband and Phone and think its the line extension thats causing it!
I've tried connecting the phone Directly into the Master Socket and get the same problem but when I remove the cover and plug it into the Test Socket it works perfectly well!!!!
I'm thinking there is a wiring problem as I have one loose Orange/White!!!
BT are wanting to charge £130 just to knock on my door but I'm guessing it's just a simple fix I can probably do myself with the right information!
Any help will be greatly appreciate

One of the experts will be along soon, but in the meantime AFAIK the only 2 connectors used are 2 & 5, so what ever one is empty, assume this is where it has fallen out of.

Not an expert but my Son recently bought a plug in extension kit from Maplin; wired up new wall socket per diagram and it did not work, told him to just connect pin 2 and 5 per diagram and presto works. Good read:
