Common missuse of chopsaws that cause injury.

Post by dirtydeeds »

Seeing as ive got the injury to proove it. Now perhaps some of you will listen when i tell you how easy it is to injure yourself with a chopsaw

I do this for a living If ANYBODY tells you theyve never had a problem with these practices, look at my injury again the decide for yourself who is correct

This is not a full list because most people would die of boredom

FIRST

Never Never Never attempt to rip cut timber on a chopsaw

SECOND

The wood must be hard against both bed and fence of the chopsaw WILL kickback EVERY SINGLE TIME. The kickback is VICIOUS

THIRD

If you are working thin wide boards or skirting lay it on its back. DO NOT stand it upright against a 3 inch fence, it ABSOLUTLY WILL kickback on you one day.

That day the smashed skirting will hit you in the side of the head.
