I contacted support last night. If the forum slows down again can someone please send me a text (only if you already have my number  )

I'll then get them to check it out.

Apparently when the server is restarted they cannot find out the cause as to why it was going slow

Just been notified that it was going slow, so I put my tea down and logged on and it seems fine

Is anyone having speed problems?

I got notified by two people, so it was not just effecting one person.

They both live miles apart as well

I havent had any problems with the forum but about 20 mins ago tried to get into the A-Z contents and it took a good 5 minutes to load. Tried again now and its fine (using Firefox 5)

Took about 3 mins to post the reply in plumbing, and IE wouldn't open the forum at all.

I refreshed the page a load of times and it came back up.

Seems super fast at the moment.

I just got an email from the server saying the server was down on Mon Aug 8 15:08:20 EDT 2011

That will explain the problem :thumbright:

There is software on the server to restart if there is a problem.

I'll keep checking this as the forum seemed to have problems at a similar time last night.

I would have thought the server keep going down would be related to the forum problem, unless you believe in co-incidence.
