idiotic casting choices
went on the Lee Child website to find out if there was a new Reacher novel out yet (yes, called The Affair), also found out they are planning a film of the book One Shot, & who have they decided should play 6' 5" 250lb Jack Reacher?????

I agree with that Argyll but come on, if you had read the Reacher novels you would know just how unsuitable Tom Cruise is for the role

Reacher is great and I read all the books but I would not in a million years cast Tom. What a shame, I like Reacher but not sure if I will watch it.

the author was on BBC Breakfast the other day trying to defend the decision saying that it was just a different interpretation of his books

Probably dome it to improve the box office figures with T.C.'s fans who, no doubt, have never read the book so would not know about the size of Jack Reacher.

TC was shooting a film at Shepperton, my mates were on set, and were told before Mr Cruise came on set to a. Not speak to him. b. Do not get in his site line and c. Do not look him in the eyes.
