Re: Forum Down
I think it might be a good idea if people post their internet service providers too when they are having problems and we can see if there is a common factor

Re: Forum Down
Fine here at the moment, IE and Firefox.
The problem is, it only goes wonky for 5-10mins average, so unless you happen to post at that time you miss it.

Pages won't finish loading.
each post in each thread taking about 20-30 seconds to load, then won't complete loading.
Had to post as a quote in here as the message box won't load at all.
Every other site absolutely flying though.

Re: Forum Down
Serve you right I say for not believing Wine~o and thescruff when we said it was slow.
Been rocking here since they re-booted last night night.
Have to say how really weird though , one night it plays up for us then the next it plays up for you, one would think/expect it to be the same for all users.

Re: Forum Down
I'm not entirely sure what to do about this issue, there are normally 500-600 people in the forum when this happens and over a hundred of these are logged in members, yet only a couple of people seem to be having issues at a time.
If it was the site or the server everyone would have the same issues at the same time
I'll collect more info in this thread and then I'll pass it over to the server management company to see if they can shed any light on what is happening

Re: Forum Down
If it's any help, I noticed with Dave and Southwood it was a continuous problem, over several hours, but with the rest of us it was maybe 40mins maximum, 5-10mins usual then it would pick up again.
