Am I missing the point or what?
How come a wholesale supplier can't sell stuff cheaper than the local supermarket? Apart from bog rolls, there is very little I can buy from Booker that Tesco (for Gawd's sake) doesn't do cheaper. Even WITH the Booker 20-25% 'discount' applied.
Just what is the point of Booker?

Re: Booker
The one in Bournemouth was quite popular with Ram-raiders a while back, wasted a few days of my life putting that back together a couple of times.
One day it will all be firewood.

Re: Booker
And there's me thinking this thread was a bit upmarket and about prizes for authors.
