Re: Forum Down
I still say it's something to do with the Vodafone flash banner or maybe more than one of them.
You had the same/similar problem last year.

Re: Forum Down
Thing is wine~o, DiyNot are having the same or similar go slow problems.
The big ads are the only thing that's common, and UHM had a problems with them last year.
Perhaps whether we are using Adobe or other makes a difference.

Re: Forum Down
23".
If I click on a post it loads before I can get the mouse the other side of the screen, at the moment I can do 5 trips before it fully loads.
I did notice when John was on the computer today, there was an horrendous volume of ads, I would say at least 70% of the page.
I would say third of a page at the top, then the Original post, then at least 7 ads, before the first reply, and more ads at the bottom.

Re: Forum Down
No idea if it helps or not, all this rambling.
At the moment Firefox 6 loaded today on 64bits, is twice as fast as the previous version on 32bits.

Re: Forum Down
It was slow here for 5 minutes, even static pages would not load fully (the text loaded but not the images), then all of a sudden the site went back to full speed as if by magic
