AUSTRALIAN COMPUTER !!!

Post by pistonbroke1957 »

evening all.
My laptop screen has started displaying everythimg upside down. !
Also when you try to move the cursor up it goes down, left it goes right etc etc.
This started to happen immediately after my 6 month old son got his hands on it.
All the installed programs seem to be working as before, but i just don't know
how much longer i can stand on my head. !!!
Any ideas anyone anyone ?
Cheers

A quick Google says hold control/alt then press up down left or right arrows til it's right.

And definitely no budgie smugglers

Should work for windows XP.
If it doesn't, then say which version of Windows you are using and what graphics card or onboard graphics you have.

This works in Windows 7 (just done it) so it should work in Vista.

Go to Control Panel -> Display -> Change Display settings.

In orientation drop down menu (if it is showing 'Landscape flipped') the select Landscape -> Apply and OK.
(If it shows 'Landscape') then select Landscape Flipped -> Apply and OK.
Your screen will go blank for a moment and return the correct way up.

ctrl + alt + arrow keys, that brings me back
I can't remember a time at school when I didn't do that after logging off a computer, along with caps lock and turning on high contrast in an effort to confuse the next user.
They must start em young these days
