Evening all.
I've been trying without success to burn a downloaded film on to DVD.
I'm using WINDOWS DVD MAKER,following the on screen instructions but no joy.
I've tried using previously used formatted and brand new unformatted DVD-RW's but always
with the same result.
The box showing 'burning progress' appears in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and over a period of about
90 minutes all seems to be ok.Then when it gets to 99% i get an error message saying 'unable to complete, check disc'
and the disc is ejected.
Neither can i play DVD's that have been recorded on from the TV.As soon as you click on open or play a box appears saying
'insert disc in to drive e' and the DVD is ejected.
I've tried to update the software but i have the up to date version.
Burning CD's works fine.
The computer is a brand new ACER running windows 7.
Any ideas anyone ?
.

i've locked this topic until you can PM me explaining exactly what you mean by "downloaded a film". we have to make sure this is a legit source as we don't allow warez/piracy etc etc.
