Benchmarx

Post by upagumtree »

I have just had my first and probably last kitchen from these guys.

Pleasant enough people to deal with, kitchen was a good price, not bad quality for the money.....but

I had need to change a couple of items for similar but more expensive items. Quite happy to pay the difference, my error not theirs. Some of the items I wanted to swap where marked FOC on the invoice in order to make the price competitive and I was told that I could not get credit on these as they hadn't been charged for  so I had to pay full price for my new items and get no value back on some items I returned. Any financial advantage I had on my original order now negated.

Personally I would have thought a refund at normal price and then buy the new item at normal price would have been more fair.

Just thought I would share.

Which branch did you use? I use them a lot but even if it was the first kitchen off them I'd tell to take a run and jump. The salesman that did you quote was just being lazy by FOCing items instead of applying a discount across the board. If that was there attitude I'd tell em I'm returning the whole kitchen and start again shall we??
