last week my tyre blew out on the A23 got a reclaimed one for £30, nice...
just pulled into work today and grinding noise when full lock left and low grinding when braking...
rear wheel bearings or front and reardiscs?
either way its gonna cost £60-£120 parts that I just simply dont have at the moment.... bloody cars eh!!
bah.
oh well going to have to find more work to make more money to cover more expenses

I've had the missis chewing my ears off about her crappy car.
When will you fix it
When can I drive it
When will you take it for MOT
When when when when.......
She's took mine at the minute which is making my work harder.
Best thing was, I'd told her what she needed to get me....gave her part numbers and shops to speak to. She was even off work (while I was away). Did she do it? Did she balls.
Top tip: if someone ever offers you a MGF, RUN don't walk.

I think there was an old thread on what I'd replaced on the car which got us a whole YEAR of trouble free motoring. Now it's just had:
- new windscreen wiper motor (just stopped working - common fault)
- Lots of blown bulbs
Needs:
- New throttle body (known issue - it's warped and the car won't idle = MOT failure on emmisions)
- Power steering keepings coming and going as it pleases (known problem - wirign harness fault)
- Plastic screen needs replacing - it's split (known problem.....!!!!!!!)
