Normally £165!!!!! They are having a laugh!
Cheap crap which doesn't hold an edge for more than 5 cuts.
£17 for 5 is probably about right.

They'll be perfect for stripping copper cable...no way they'll be sharp enough to damage the core....Razor wrote:Damn I just bought you a set for Xmas Pete

Looks like a few people have had problems with the quality etc.

They're the sort of knives that'd cost £10 in argos, not be particularly sharp to begin with, crap weight distribution and easily blunted. If the P&P cost more than the item it's a bunch of crap.
Looking at those pictures the tang doesn't even run the full length of the handle and theres no bolster, things you'd expect on mid level knives.
Never had a problem finding good knives myself, any cookware shop highstreet or online, you do need to pay for quality. I've wusthof classics 22cm chef and 9cm paring and a global boning knife. Ok they cost a bob or two but keep them sharp and they'll last forever, and speed up food prep significantly.
For the average user a set of victorinox kitchen knives will do you well, get a decent steel and wetstone and you're laughing.
