HDMI
Can I have a bit of help please
Mrs Canny and I have decided to buy a Blueray DVD player between us as a christmas gift, saves a lot ot opening packs of socks and scent sets
anyway the one we are looking at is the Samsung BDD5300,now as we are old fashioned here in Cannyland we are still using scart leads to connect our old dvd player to the tv,the tv only has one HDMI port and this is being used by the Virgin media box
so my question is is there a HDMI double adaptor available and would it work both the Blueray and the Virginmedia box
thanks in advance folks

Re: HDMI
A HDMI splitter is what you want, some of the cheap ones can be a bit dodgey but this one is highly rated and auto switching
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duronic-HDS3-Sw ... 409&sr=8-1
Just have a google for "HDMI splitter" and have a look, theres loads of options.
Enjoy the blu ray

Re: HDMI
You want to search for HDMI Switcher, not splitter.
Splitter in DVD -->> Many TV
Switcher DVD/Virgin -->> One TV
I've seen the one Megaross linked too before, it'll do the job at a reasonable price.

Re: HDMI
Thinking about it.....do you need a remote control and will it be on show?
I've just looked in my garage and found this:
If I can find the power supply, you are welcome to have it?
5V 1A.....shouldn't be TOO hard?

Re: HDMI
it actually has 'not store stock' wrote on it.... it's from a project and was labled to avoid confusion.
I'll check it fires up and if I have the PSU and I'll sort out sending it asap.

Re: HDMI
Found a PSU....it's lit up, but thats as far as I've gone.
I'll send it, if it don't work - you can turn it into a tank or something.
PM some details and I'll get it sent tomorrow
Cheers,
BG
