ive got a samsung galaxy s I 9000, i was in the middle of updating it with samsung KIES when it was 70% through the laptop starting flashing force closing sign, i cancelled that but its knackered my phone, it came up with sign that has a phone and a computer with a hazard triangle in between, what does this mean and how do I sort it?
ive been looking on the net but the only thing ive managed to find is how to get it reset back to the downloading screen, but it wont connect to KIES for the emergency reccovery, when it does connect after a while it stops the recovery flashing up connection lost!
im really really starting to p*ss me off!
ive read that i might be able to sort it using 'odin' but i cant find any where to download odin from!
any one any good with mobiles?

i finally got KIES to do a emergency recovery and now its working!!! thank god, ive only got it back from the repair shop, that took 6 weeks from putting the claim in to getting it back on thursday!
is there another way to update the phone without using KIES?
