Re: dewalt drill naked £44
It isn't that great a price for a "sale" item tbh, the bare unit is normally around that price anyway. I managed to get one for £29 inc VAT about 6 months in a sale.
The one in the link below is only a few pounds more, but has a metal chuck and the four screws to pull the whole motor out..

And this one is the same as the one in the first post, but without the nano base

I am a great fan of bare tools though, I quite happily run 5 cordless tools with just the two battery's and single charger

Re: dewalt drill naked £44
It is cheaper to buy the new drill than buy the parts to fix it
For a metal Dewalt chuck from most places it is £52
The switch is about £44
Transmission £60
Armature and Magnets £50
Clam shell £13
Brushes and plate £10

Well, there was a bit of a problem with it.
It was advertised as not working, but the two lithium ion batteries were supposed to be working and the charger.
When it arrived the drill was working and both batteries and the charger, the case is also like new
So I am afraid I cannot fix it because it is not broken
I'll try and use it when I get chance incase it does not work under load etc.
