PHOTO EDITING FREE SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS

Evening all.
I'm looking for a version of ULEAD PHOTOIMPACT that will run on Windows 7.
I had VERSION 10 on my old Windows xp computer, but it won't work on the new one.
I've tried ADOBE and SERIF but for occasional basic editting find them too involved
Any ideas ?

Irfanview is a free programme with basic editing functions, there's loads more on the majorgeeks site, some are free, some are shareware.

Opted for GIMP by way of MAJORGEEKS

gimp is good can be a bit clunky if you are used to photoshop though
