Well, power went off 8am Tuesday and is still off today (Thursday) with a 'rumour' (since Scottish Power now refuse to answer calls....) that we won't get power back until tomorrow (Friday) now :roll:

Genny packed in (overheated) this morning but that was my fault as my jury-rigging of yesterday meant I left the flywheel cover off and the cool air ducting wasn't working properly. Got the cover back on now and the genny running again which is as well since our fridges and freezer need a boost to save them - typically we had only just filled the freezer (£120 worth) Monday afternoon :roll:

And BLUE SKIES as well - our first in about 5 months (and I'm not kidding) allowing us to sort out leaks in the shed and house roof. You lot in the cities have it 'easy' :lol:
