I have eaten at the restaurant on the other side of the road  but it's a long way from where I live so I haven't been to the Fat Duck.
You are joking  - but I'd love to :thumbright:

Is the one on the other side of the road a pub. If its the one I think it is its also Hestons and that is supposed to be really good, just cheaper (just!)

A burning ring suggests that you are not eating a balanced diet.

You should be able to metabolise all the capsaicin (the hot in chilli) before you excrete the remains of your meal. However, if you don't have a full set of enzymes because of a limited diet, some capsaicin will end up burning your ring.
Hubby is fed up with the pseudo-scientific cr*p. If your diet is so limited that you can't produce enough digestive enzymes for normal digestion then it's time to call in the World Health Organisation to supply you with food aid. He has a biological sciences degree!

On that QI prog, they said that if your diet consisted of Rabbit and NOTHING else (take note, Granny BigBird), you will die as there is a vital element missing.

Apparently some trappers in Canada were found having starved to death although they had been eating a plentiful supply of rabbit
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hoovie,

That was a co-enzyme missing from the rabbit.

Capsaicin irritates the bowel and speeds up the transit time, so there's not enough time for any of the enzymes to digest it. That's why constipation can be cured by eating spicy curry.

Too much protein in rabbit, thats as much as I know. Needs to be part of a balanced diet. Rabbit alone will harm you in time.

Dont eat polar bear liver either, thats very toxic, and they dont like you removing it either.
