Combined adhesive and grout

Post by ukstan »

I have started tiling my bathroom and used the adhesive as grout as stated on the product.
The problem is now after grouting in the gaps and the adhesive drying its all stuck to the tiles and i have had to scrape it off instead of just washing down the tiles if i had used a seperate grout.
Should i forget about this duel product thing and buy some regular grout
Thanks
Stan

Short answer is yes,you are best using a adhesive and the a separate grout, for a far superior job and better finish as you have found

It's rubbish!

Gritty when it goes on then sets like a bullet. I've only ever used it when doing maintenance and replacing the odd tile
