Cheers all! :)
I could do with a cash injection - hoping the lead / cylinder boost my cash input - NEED it!
if you dont it will goes as copper braziery
if you cut everything off the pipe goes as heavy copper??? i think thats what it says anyway. but there cant be any brass at all.
then weigh what youve cut off in as brass with all taps and everything.
copper cylinder will go seperate again probs. and then just the rads. and the lead.
i got a load of lead from some lead valleys we replaced. plus various bits of lead pipe i find on jobs. and off cuts of copper/ copper pipe ive removed when replumbing rads etc. and a few old rads to get weighed in... plus a toyota supra or 2 to weigh in aswell

Re: Smashing.....
Two rooms left to paint and a few bits and bobs to sort, like outside tap, bathpanel, few cabinet bits - all the odds and sods.
It's been a lot longer than I first thought it would take, but better to do things once than keep having to come back over and over. Seems a shame when you think of the stuff thats gone in, especially if I get to knock it down in years to come
More pics as things progress towards the end.....
Kitchen...
Hallway....
Bedroom 1...
Almost sorted the lounge out, filled, painted and cleaned. Bedroom 2 tomorrow, then both rooms Wednesday for final coats and finishing - the rest of over to brother in law to sort out after that.
I need some holiday (actually, I'm going to finish my own bathroom )

Re: Smashing.....
Well, pretty much done for my involvement now.
It's 8 weeks tomorrow that I started this and I feel like I've aged 200 years.
There are some finishing jobs for me to do when time permits. There are things that BIL is going to do within the next two weeks and then the house is finished.
Will try and get pictures, but they have now moved in and are happy.
Cooker arrived today and works like a champ.....Just need to get two carpets ordered. It's been emotional.
Living Room
I spent time here today painting and finishing up. Coving goes up tomorrow and the fireplace needs fitting.
This is the back wall with fireplace. It's being wallpapered in some sort of black designed paper. Not brought yet....
Boiler
Finally got round to fitting the wireless thermostat/timer thingymajig. Installation was easy, went with the volt free setup.
Controls are nice and simple and the range is fantastic - easily covers the whole of the house and is quick to react when heat is required (but not too quick to make it chatty). Screen is uncluttered and easy to read, with a blue backlight. Name a product that has a blue backlight and is bad?
I guess time will tell how reliable it is (It's a hoartman HRFS1 from Screwfix - 47 quid!!!!! http://www.screwfix.com/p/horstmann-hrf ... stat/93829).
My only complaint was the terminals are only big enough for 1 cable, unlike other receivers that have more room.
Mess
This is one room that contains a pile of bits, tools, etc.......remind me again why I'm so messy? Yet strangely, never struggle to find anything until it's in it's box.....
Cheers for now.

Re: Smashing.....
Hiya chief!
House all sorted a week or so ago - just had the carpets fitted today, so 100% finished :)
Pug kindof sorted itself, oddly. Back up to 45mpg and no more stuttering - it'll be back though, then I'll sort it.
Hopefulyl weather will be better too!
