Too much superglue + dog =
This is no joke, it really happened to me, i swear on my kids!!!!
Was building a model airplane for my nephew and my tube of superglue was a bit clogged up.
i squeezed a bit too hard and burst the side of the tube and not surprisingly got glue all over my fingers and palm.
I ended up gluing my index and middle finger together,
then at that moment my little jack russell decided to have a go at the model plane i was building, he started chewing on it so i grabbed him and carried him through to the kitchen where i tried to put him down on the floor........................
Yeah, i glued myself to my dog
I jest not, i had my palm and fingers stuck tight to the poor guys stomach and side, he started going nuts and pulled away and was left with a big bald spot........
The missus thought i was turning into a warewolf!!!!!!!!

I've had some traumatic experiences with superglue myself, so I can empathise with you!......but it's still funny as *uck!..

Sounds like an over-elaborate excuse for hairy palms
If at first you don't succeed - remove all evidence that you tried.

Many years ago, my old Boxer X chewed a tube of superglue...
Managed to stick his teeth to his gums!

Re: Too much superglue + dog =
Last week I had the wonderful job of boxing-in some crappy old steel ductwork at ceiling level in a council home (if it ever needs repairing it'll be coming out). Some of the panels were going on permanently, so they were given a judicious (small) amount of PU glue before being pinned into place. The apprentice saw me doing this and copied the techniques - only he used a bit more glue. Well actually he used a helluva lot more glue. Guess who's head it dripped onto?

I hope the RSPCA don't read this and see that you tried to "put your dog down" on the floor
I was once getting ready to go to the gym and my shell suit bottoms had split in the groin, so I thought I'd superglue the split.
It was great fun ringing my mate with my fingers stuck to my shell suit bottoms
