tiling window reveals

Post by All The Gear »

Hi lads. I've got an upcoming job where the window reveals are offset at 45 degrees rather than the usual 90. Anyone come across this before. Just wondering about the trims, obviously the angle of the reveal means the face of the trim will be pushed out too. Anyone got any suggestions?

Tile the reveal first and then set the rims on the main part of the wall afterwards.

Thanks mate, that's what I was thinking - and to mitre the outside edges of the tiles set into the reveals. Never come up against one of these before.
