Be aware that the mitre saw max cut width is 120mm, some laminates are wider than this.
I tend to use a jigsaw for laminate these days. Laminate will knacker blades pretty quickly.

I always use a jigsaw for laminate as it seems to do the best job with less dust than a circular or chop saw. I used a chop saw once and it would often spark when cutting some laminates!
A few years ago I bought a full pallet of glue together laminate for £100 (slight seconds) I managed to do 9 large rooms and 3 landings with it and still had loads left, I cut almost every plank using my cordless Dewalt which is brilliant as the battery lasts ages when cutting laminate.

Re: Evolution metal cutting saw bargain
i do as Fin does, i always use my chop saw. Jig saws are fine if you arn't bothered about a 100% straight edge. they also take far too long. a chop saw cuts straight through laminate in 1-2 seconds, although mine is the one with a 12" blade in it. as above, the only downfall is that it does blunten the blade so i have two blades, one for fine wood and the other for laminate.
dust wise, i have an extract bag on mine so it get about the same as a jig saw externally.
